I love receiving the newsletters in my email inbox from image consultants who are members of the MMBs (Marketing Bundle Program). I love the invitations to start working on summer wardrobes, demystifying trends, or taking the stress out of getting dressed.
Your newsletter is the perfect way to let your clients know that:
a. You’re still in business (while maybe others have quit or given up)
b. You’re still offering solutions to their problems (as demonstrated by testimonials or stories from clients about problems that disappeared once you applied your know-how)
c. You’re offering an opportunity for people to meet and greet you and learn about your services in a neighborhood workshop
c. You have room in your busy practice for a couple of new clients
I remember when a client called me in distress. I’d worked with her in the past but her life got busy and out-of-control and it had been awhile since I’d heard her voice. She said, “Your newsletters always remind me that you’re there for me when I need you. And wow, I really need you now! Thanks for being there.”
Be sure you’re using your newsletters to demonstrate your empathy and energy.
